What Spirit of Christmas organization completes every year gets done in a flurry of just a few months.
August
Board members serve 3 year terms, each year rotating in a new member. Officers and committee members have the choice of staying with their position each year. If not, an election committee is formed to help fill the empty seats.
September/October
November
Anyone unable to pick up on distribution day can pick up their gifts until packing is complete. Everything is put into storage to be ready for the next year.

January/February
April
August
- Board and Officers meet in advance of the regular monthly meetings which are open to the public
- They discuss and plan out the upcoming year

- Distribution sites and times are confirmed (Chippewa Falls, Stanley, Cadott, and Cornell)
- Giving tree locations are confirmed
- Gift tags are filled out, then dropped off at Giving Tree locations
- Sponsor and donation request letters are sent out
- Delivery trucks, buses and schools are confirmed
- Insurance Policy renewed
- Dates for packing gifts are set
- Applications, tags, and envelopes are ordered an/or printed
- Applications are distributed
November
- Packing site gets set up, inventory taken and packing begins for the new applications received
- Deadline for applications is end of November
- Packing for all distribution sites is done in downtown Chippewa Falls from mid November to mid December
- Distribution days are scheduled before Christmas so parents have time to wrap the gifts
- Parents are sent a letter notifying them what their scheduled pick up time is
- Monday following the distribution the packing site is packed up
- Inventory, packing and cleaning is done

- Thank you letters are mailed and a thank you ad is placed in area newspapers
- New officers are elected, committee members are appointed and the annual audit is completed

- Taxes are filed
